"Flying Geese is one of the true workhorse units of American patchwork — found tucked into borders and sashing on quilts throughout the 1800s. This pinwheel-set design captures that same rhythmic, pieced-triangle movement in antique mauve and delft blue, and it's one of the quickest stitches in the whole collection.

- Finished size: 3.4"" x 3.4"" (8.7cm x 8.7cm) on 14 count aida, or 3.0"" x 3.0"" (7.6cm x 7.6cm) on 16 count aida
- Designed to fit comfortably in a 4"" hoop with fabric to spare for mounting
- Fabric: 14 or 16 count aida (cream/white recommended) — my own stitched sample is worked on 16 count for a finer, more detailed finish, but 14 count works just as beautifully and gives you a slightly larger finished piece if you'd prefer that
